Disney On Ice: Spotlight Magic! Miami Gardens Theatre reviews
BETTER EXPERIENCE THAN SoFi
I appreciated being able to get into the stadium 3 hours prior to the start of the concert versus an hour like at SoFi. The parking was easy, traffic to and from is expected, traffic guards (not police) were great and friendly. My family and I went to the 1st, 3rd, and last night of the concert. The first night we sat in the 100's, 3rd night was floor seats, and the 4th/last concert night we sat in the 300s. Restrooms were close by and everywhere and they were always clean. Food vendor options were awesome! The prices are NUTS but that's to be expected I suppose. There was Las Vegas favorites like pinkbox donuts, fukuburger, purple penguin shaved ice, poke bowls, and more. This allowed for ticket holders to have a 3 hour window to get in easily as well as allowing sufficient time to get food, drinks, and merchandise.
IMPROVEMENT: With a 3 hour window to get into the stadium, Allegiant Stadium cannot expect the same crowd of 65,000 to get out within 30, 45 minutes. The walkways/hallways to exit at times were at a standstill, exiting stairwells were full of people trying to exit, and the stairs at the north entry/exit was packed. On top of that, exit gates aren't open wide but just as we entered through the security detectors, we exited the same way single file lines. Safety from first guest to the last guest should be the TOP priority especially after 1 October not the staff trying to rush and get home. I deducted 1 star because of this.
OVERALL: SoFi is definitely a larger, nicer property. If I, as a local, had this wonderful experience I'm sure majority of the visiting Disney On Ice: Mickey's Search Party ARMY did, too. SoFi has better landscaping with it's large lake and ample space for guests to hang and commune pre-concert to enjoy unlike Allegiant where it's just ALL stadium nothing else. Good job with our tax dollars. I'm proud to be a Las Vegan and call this city home.
